Actuator mounting flange (mounting pad)
The common interface between the mounting pad of ball and butterfly valves and the base of an actuator or gear operator. A valve and actuator with the same F code fit together without a bracket.

Notes
- This table has been compiled by Emsal from the relevant standards. For the full text of the standard, refer to ISO or your national standards body. A 2026 edition of the standard has been published; the values have been verified against tables of the previous edition in two independent sources.
- d1 is the minimum flange diameter, d2 the spigot diameter (f8-toleranced spigot or recess), d3 the bolt circle, d4 the bolt thread, h1 the maximum spigot height and h2 the minimum thread depth.
- Holes are symmetrical about the axes: offset 45° for F03–F16, 22.5° for F25–F40, 15° for F48 and 9° for F60.
- Torque is the maximum torque the flange connection can transmit. To select an actuator, a safety factor (usually 1.25–1.5) is applied to the valve's maximum operating torque.
- In the square drive column, the size in bold is the standard's preferred size. For F12 the two sources differ, so only 22 and 27, common to both, are given. F80 and F100 appear in only one source and have been omitted.
- Accuracy and currency are not guaranteed; use the current edition of the standard for design and purchasing decisions. How the library is compiled →
