These terms govern the use of the website at emsalvana.com (the “Site”) and of the technical information, calculation tools, datasheets and CAD models offered on it. Anyone who uses the Site is deemed to have accepted these terms.
1. Parties and scope
The Site is operated by EMSAL MAKİNA VANA VE BAĞLANTI ELEMANLARI (“Emsal”). These terms apply to all pages of the Site and to all files downloaded from it. The processing of personal data is governed separately by the Personal Data Notice (KVKK) and the Cookie and Privacy Policy.
2. Nature of the information on the Site
The product information, dimension tables, material data, summaries of standards and calculation tools on the Site are provided for general information. The information has been carefully compiled and checked; however, its accuracy, completeness and currency are not guaranteed.
- For design, calculation and purchasing decisions, the current edition of the relevant standard, the product datasheet and Emsal's written quotation must be used.
- The results of the calculation tools are for preliminary sizing; the final selection must be checked by a competent engineer who knows the operating conditions.
- Emsal reserves the right to change its products and the information on the Site without prior notice.
3. Datasheets and CAD models
Datasheets and CAD models (STEP, DXF) downloaded from the Site are free of charge and may be used on the following terms:
- Purpose: incorporating Emsal products into projects, piping and layout drawings, preparing quotations and specifications.
- Simplified models: the CAD models show the product's envelope and connection dimensions; internal details are simplified. The models may not be used for manufacturing, casting, machining or reverse engineering.
- Dimensions: binding dimensions are given in the datasheet. If the model and the datasheet differ, the datasheet prevails; if the datasheet and the order confirmation differ, the order confirmation prevails.
- Distribution: the files may be shared with project stakeholders as part of the project documentation. Republishing or selling the files on their own, presenting them as another manufacturer's product or uploading them to CAD library sites is prohibited.
- Warranty: the files are provided “as is”. Emsal is not liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from their use.
4. Intellectual property
The names Emsal and Emsal Vana, the logos, product images, technical drawings, CFD images, texts and the design of the Site belong to Emsal or are used under licence. Except for the use permitted in section 3 above, they may not be reproduced, modified or used commercially without written permission. Linking to the technical content with attribution is permitted.
5. Quotation requests
Quotation lists and requests sent via the Site are requests for information; they do not constitute a binding order or contract. Prices, delivery times and technical terms become binding only with Emsal's written quotation and order confirmation.
6. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to standards bodies, manufacturers and other resources. Emsal is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these sites.
7. Limitation of liability
Emsal does not undertake that the Site will operate without interruption or error. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, Emsal cannot be held liable for damage arising from the use of the information, tools and files on the Site.
8. Changes
Emsal may update these terms. The current version applies from the date it is published on this page.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Central) have jurisdiction over disputes. The rights of users acting as consumers under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 to apply to consumer arbitration committees and to the consumer courts at their place of residence remain unaffected.
