Notes

  • The symbols are drawn by Emsal and follow the common representations in ISO 10628-2 and ISA 5.1. In projects, the company's own symbol legend applies.
  • Actuator symbols are added on top of the valve body; the same body can be combined with different actuators.
  • In instrument bubbles the first letter is the measured variable (P pressure, T temperature, F flow) and the following letters the function (I indicator, T transmitter, C controller).
