Threaded mini ball valve

Ball valves control flow with a spherical closing element that rotates through 90 degrees. Inside the valve is a bored ball, usually made of stainless steel or special alloys. When the ball is turned with the lever or an actuator so that the bore lines up with the flow path, the medium passes freely; turned the other way, the bore stands perpendicular to the flow path and shuts off the flow completely. With a full opening, ball valves offer low pressure drop and excellent sealing performance.
