Features
03Operation
- A pressure sensor (usually piezoresistive, capacitive or strain gauge) detects the pressure.
- A microcontroller converts the measured value and shows it on the display.
- Some models offer data logging, alarms or RS485/Modbus communication.
Advantages
- High accuracy: error of ±0.25% or better.
- Easy to read: backlit LCD or LED display, readable even in the dark.
- Memory and data output: readings can be stored and transferred to external systems.
- Multiple units: switch between bar, psi, Pa, kg/cm² and others.
- Alarm function: warns the user at set thresholds.
Applications
- HVAC systems: cooling and ventilation pressure control
- Industrial processes: pressure monitoring in gas and liquid lines
- Laboratories: precise measurement in test set-ups
- Power plants: boiler and pipeline safety checks
- Food & pharma: pressure monitoring in sterile areas
Considerations
- Choose a housing and display suited to the conditions (IP65, IP67, etc.).
- Select the sensor type and unit to suit the pressure range.
- Electromagnetic interference can affect the accuracy of some models.
