Normalized (+N). ReH decreases with thickness: 16–40 mm 255 · 40–60 mm 245 · 60–100 mm 215. KV transverse: 27 J (−20 °C), 40 J (+20 °C).
Service temperature
Lower value: the temperature of the impact requirement (−20 °C, transverse 27 J). EN 10028-2 gives elevated-temperature proof strength values up to 400 °C.
This is the limit of the material itself. A valve's service temperature is usually set by the seal and seat materials; product pages give it for each seal option.
